*kidnap trigger warning*
honestly its not a kidnap after you read the story to a certain point but well i will just put it here in case anything happens lol
anyway! this is such an amazing manga, i love the theme because it hasn’t been explored much (at least not that i know of) the manga is primarily based of family abuse, child abuse, and some other psych stuff
firstly, i promise the story is not super triggering at any point (as of chapter 30+) and its actually pretty cute but in order not to spoil the story, i will leave it to you to explore 🙂
honestly this is not a very review-y review because the manga is not done yet, but i just feel that its so good that i have to review it now? i already know it will be good as heck (i will update this when it updates more yey)
this story is a very good representation of how abuse is generally a big issue but also a taboo (which results in no one ever talking about it) especially family abuse, it’s only reported when it is really confirmed but which kid will have so much courage to say that he/she is being abused by people in the same household, after being abused (potentially many times)? i guess it also serves to show how laws can never have enough coverage? you will always need evidence and without proof there is practically nothing you can do about it even if you know something is really wrong. also about kidnapping, it is an equally taboo topic, since people relate it to being bad all the time. this story fully portrayed how this kidnap was actually an escape for the girl (sachi) instead of a torture, which is quite rare to see (in anywhere)
the whole story is not out yet, but i really hope the story will end on a good note, especially since the main characters are all either abused, abandoned, or really hecking kind. its a kidnap but its heartwarming (i dont even know how) the story is just such a gem and an eye opener which is what manga is all about ;D
